The Drifters with original member Bobby HendricksThe Drifters have made musical history with some of the great classic hits of the rock and roll and Rhythm and Blues era. "This Magic Moment," "Up On The Roof," "Under The Boardwalk," are just a few of the many classics still played on oldies radio and seen in movies today. The Drifters have been American icons since their inception in the 1950's by manager George Treadwell. Bobby Hendricks joined the group in 1956 and is the only remaining Drifters member authorized to tour in the United States using the Drifters name by the Treadwell estate. (A London-based group tours Great Britain). Although there are many imitators, Bobby Hendricks and The Drifters and their signature dance moves and harmonies are the real deal.
